work

maryan geluk has a passion for architecture, urban planning, landscape and nature.

from these she collects forms and images that deal with movement, such as growth, corridors of animals and plants or underground life.

the experiment starts without the end in view.

cartographic maps and plans are a source of knowledge and inspiration from which she expresses her thoughts on the history of human culture in interaction with natural processes.

this leads to layers in her work.

the imagination are registrations expressed in abstract shapes, dug layer after layer.

maryan geluk applies a wide variety of materials and techniques.

she often makes use of paper and textiles.
