the character of saskia van der made expresses itself through abstract sculptures whose curves bring about a very feminine feel of sensuality.

saskia van der made

born in 1963 in ridderkerk (nl). 

as a shipswrights' daughter she grew up in grou (frisia, the netherlands).

she keeps from her childhood on the shores of a Frisian lake that liking for nature.

in 1992 in carrera (italy) she discovered how working directly into marble could develop her artistic talent.

she leaves the netherlands in 1998 and creates her own sculpture studio in the provence.
