the mondriaan fund decided gallery 9 in 2015 en 2016 again can make use of the facility kunstkoop.

the facility is valid for works of artists who are still alive and who cooperate with the gallery.

kunstrai 2014

in spite of the warmth during the whitsun weekend more than 15.000 people visited the 30th edition of the kunstrai in amsterdam (nl).

the dinner for gallery owners and collectioners on saturday evening was a big success.

both the solo stand with works of robbert de goede and the group stand of gallery 9 got much attention of the visitors.

many of them could not resist the seduction of the very attractive jubilee offer of the 25 x 25 cm works presented at the special jubilee wall on occasion of the 25th anniversary of gallery 9.

more than 16.000 visitors went to art breda 2014.

gallery 9 welcomed many visitors in the stand.

a lot of attention got the special jubilee wall for the 25th anniversary of gallery 9.

participation gallery 9 in art breda 2014

art breda 2014 is the continuation of the art and antiques fair which took place under the name artantique in 2010 , 2011 and 2012.

in 2013 , this fair was held under the name art 2013.

the art fair was several years held in the jaarbeurs utrecht (nl).

now under the name of art breda the art fair will in 2014 be held in breda (nl).

breda (nl) is the city of origin of the former spring art fair of the south.

art breda has originated from this art fair.

it is the intention that the art fair remains in breda (nl) over the coming years.

art breda 2014 will be held at chasséveld in breda (nl) in a specially for this art fair built exhibition pavilion.

this art fair aims to provide a platform for antiques, ancient art, contemporary art and design.

the art fair aims to become the most important spring fair for design, art and antiques in the netherlands.

admission criteria are the same as for pan amsterdam.

the art fair is open to the public from sunday april 6 through sunday april 13, 2014.

sunday april 6 through saturday april 12 open from 11:00 to 19:00.

wednesday, april 9 evening opening from 19:00 to 21:30.

sunday, april 13 open from 11:00 to 18:00.

on saturday, april 5 from 14:00 to 21:00 is the opening for invited guests.

17.00 is the official opening by mr c.l.m. meeuwis, deputy mayor of breda.

raw art fair again successful for gallery 9

the third edition of raw art fair from 5 through february 9, 2014, this time held in the cruise terminal at the wilhelminakade in rotterdam (nl), is visited by over 14,500 people.

the booth of gallery 9 has been busy every day.

particularly the small 25 x 25 cm works, especially made by the artists for the 25th anniversary of gallery 9 for the special anniversary price of € 250 , - each,

were sold.

great interest in opening jubilee exhibition gallery 9 25 years

the opening of the jubilee exhibition gallery 9 25 years on 11-1-2014 was a great success.

the 25 x 25 cm works of art of 50 artists, specially made by them for this jubilee, are on show and they are for sale for € 250, - each.

most works are unique, some are in limited edition.

more than 400 visitors came to the opening. 

coen vernooij, specially for this occasion, made a brilliant compositiion, entitled 'applause and rumors’ and played it on baritone saxophone.

martijn duifhuizen has taken lots of pictures of the artworks and visitors and made videos.

the grimm brothers brought with their distinctive presence an extra festive note.

25 years gallery 9

2014 is a jubilee year for gallery 9!

it has been over 25 years since the gallery was started by nine van caldenborgh.

also it is 5 years ago (1-1-2009) that the gallery was acquired by dick bouwma.

the year 2014 is in many ways a jubilee year!

this jubilee year we will not let go by unnoticed.

we would like to celebrate this with the artists who work with gallery 9, customers, visitors and other relations.

we want to start the jubilee year in the gallery with a grand opening of a special jubilee exhibition on january 11, 2014.

jubilee exhibition 

we start the jubilee year in the gallery by a festive opening of a special jubilee exhibition on january 11, 2014 at 4 p.m.

in this jubilee exhibition we show small works (25 x 25 cm) specially made for the 25 years jubilee by the artists who work with gallery 9.

coen vernooij, one of the artists, plays on baritone sax during the opening his especially for this occasion written piece 'applause & rumors".

on all art fairs in which gallery 9 participates in 2014 a special wall of the stand is dedicated to the jubilee year.

on this jubilee wall also by the artists specially for the jubilee created small works (25 x 25 cm) are presented.

the especially for the 25 years jubilee created small works are both in the gallery and on the art fairs for sale at a special jubilee price of 250,- euros each.

free treatment

with the purchase in 2014 of a work of art (or more works of art at a time) for an amount of at least 1000,- euros you will receive a free (by appointment only) treatment by andy jee in the recently in the basement of the gallery established hair studio. 

this free treatment includes hair cut, wash, head massage and styling. organic products are used.  

brooch 

on the occasion of the 25th anniversary the brooch of gallery 9 will be released again in a limited edition. 

the brooch weighs 15.75 grams and is made of first grade silver (925).

just like previous time the brooch again is made by rudolph van rosmalen. 

until january 11, 2014 this beautiful brooch is for sale by advance registration for the price of 99,- euros. then for 150,- euros.

participation gallery 9 in raw art fair 2014

gallery 9 will participate again this year at the raw art fair which will take place at the same time as art rotterdam from february 5 till 10, 2014.

this time the raw art fair will be held in rotterdam cruise terminal (rct) at the wilhelminakade on the kop van zuid in rotterdam (nl).
